Website Design

I started working at the City of Somerville Police Department as their IT & Communications Specialist. My role in the IT department is to assist and troubleshoot all technical issues as well as serve as the website system administrator. In my dual role, I redesigned the website, created flyers, logos and continuously monitor social media channels. 

This website was originally created by Officer Sean Collier, a police officer who died in the line of duty as a result of the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings. The website had been neglected for many years and so, when I was hired in 2016, I immediately started working on getting the website updated. My goal was finding a modern design that would feel new but comfortable to all the users who've visited the website previously.
